Lindsey Adelman founded her lighting and product design studio in 2006; her signature aesthetic was evident from her very first product, the Branching Bubble chandelier, which combined the organic nature of blown glass with more rational machined components. That subject has since been explored through a raft of highly successful products, including bespoke lighting commissions that provide a signature finishing touch to homes and commercial spaces created by the world’s best interior designers. The 20-strong studio is based in Manhattan and works with local manufacturers to develop and produce custom parts. Adelman’s work has been exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Design Miami, Nilufar Gallery and BDDW, among others.
