The three young designers in Norway Says, Torbjørn Anderssen, Espen Voll and Andreas Engesvik, are now the most renowned Norwegian furniture designers. They design furniture and interior objects for the most well known Scandinavian and international furniture companies. Over the last years they have participated in several international exhibitions and won national and international prizes for their work. In 2004 they received the prestigious Scandinavian design award «The Bruno Mathsson Award» and in 2007 they received the famous «Torsten and Wanja Söderbergs Award» for outstanding and innovative work within the field of Decorative Arts and Design in the Nordic countries.
The lamp MHY of Muuto, has an elegant appearance and a strong personality. The playful way of MHY inspired by the character Little My created by Tove Jansson. Its appearance leaves relaxing atmosphere because of its strong references to children's literature, but always remaining true to the concept and scandinavian design with its characteristic and stylish way. Made of high quality aluminum and with a size that allows that the suspension lamp MHY can be mounted in clusters or rows on the kitchen table or dining in a hallway or somewhere else where you want to add a design element with a character unique, but unobtrusive.
