Designed in 1969, the Verpan Spiral Mini Pendant demonstrates Verner Panton’s fascination with the versatility of plastic as a luxury material. Individual strands of Silver Cellidor suspend from metal tiers, staggering together in to a cohesive cluster of light and shadow. With the belief that light, color and materiality autonomously interact with one another to create an emotional reaction, the Spiral displays such impact with brilliant reflections of silver that pop when wind or a passerby moves the fixture. The Spiral Mini does not arrive assembled; each strand can be easily attached to the metal frame with the rings provided.

Founded in 2003, Verpan is the exclusive manufacturer of Danish icon Verner Panton’s extensive collection of lighting and furniture design. The company works directly with the Panton estate—in particular, his wife Marianne Panton--to bring new light to groundbreaking designs from the heyday of his career in the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.
