The Bluff City Pendant For Roll and Hill PL342
The Bluff City Light merges a traditional pendant shade and a wire-cage into an industrially inspired but refined pendant. Powder-coated metal encloses the lamp and the copper-plated socket. While this combination gives the light a vaguely postmodern feel that echos the Memphis movement, the design is actually named after the American city, which is also known as Bluff City.
Born in Tokyo and raised in New England, Jonah Takagi earned his bachelor’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002. Pursuing his two passions, he has spent the last decade designing furniture and playing bass guitar for several indie rock bands. Unfortunately, being on the road gave him little time to showcase his furniture, leaving him with a house full of products that no one had seen.
